Chad Pepin, Owner/General Manager
Chad started working in the boat industry for his family's boat dealership at an early age and has over 30 years of mechanical experience on all types of cars, heavy equipment, small engines and boats. He is a certified technician for Mercruiser and Volvo Penta with a specialty in diesel engines. He has a well-earned reputation as marine diesel mechanic in Vermont. Chad's pride of ownership is reflected in all of the work that Island Marine and his team provides.
Dave Nilson Shop Technician
Dave comes with years of experience . He is well rounded in many areas. Dave is our shop mechanic very Knowledgeable . a bit about his background , born and raised in Vermont. Jack of all trades, been working as a mechanic for 12 years. Also has a background construction and automotive restoration. Dave is good with electrical wiring as well. So when you go to the shop your in good hands. Also say hi when you get to the shop to his Lab mis Ladybug.
Cyndi Pepin, Owner/Office Manager
Cyndi is the voice you hear when you call Island Marine. She keeps track of client accounts, billing and scheduling. When not in the office, Cyndi is busy caring for her five springer spaniels, her three girls, her garden and her family.
Shawn Francis
Shawn Francis Road Technician
We ar excited to have Shawn on our team. He is born and raised in Colchester VT. He has 30 years of Marine Mechnics.
Honda, Merc OMC , Outboard 1&2, Yanmar and Diesel school. Shawn is also well versed in Fiberglass work. So no worries you will be in great hands
Mike Hanson
Mike was born in Saratoga NY raised in Schuylerville NY, moved to Jacksonville FL @ 14 went to Marine Mechanics school for 3 years in high school. Mike has 6 years of Fleet maintenance experience involving gasoline and diesel engines of all sizes and types along with hydraulic systems and 9 years of industrial maintenance. He also has expeirnce in electrical , mechanical pneumatic and hydraulics. Hobbies are RC racing and pretty much anything with a motor.
